Statement from the management
Fit Ingredients GmbH has been supplying the food, cosmetics, animal feed and pharmaceutical industries and alternative practitioners with natural, plant-based raw materials for more than 20 years.
We are responsible for the health and well-being of consumers. This responsibility requires a set of rules that provides a framework for daily decisions in our professional lives. A set of rules based on integrity, respect, transparency and honesty, our Fit Ingredients Code of Conduct.
Our Code of Conduct summarizes the most important rules that apply to us as follows. It is our guideline for conduct when dealing with customers, suppliers, business partners and, in particular, employees. It provides us with a framework for how we implement our values in our daily work and how we live up to them. The Code of Conduct is therefore the guideline for our daily actions and our dealings with one another.
Our commitment as Fit Ingredients
Combating bribery and corruption
We do not tolerate any form of bribery or corruption. Personal interests must not play a role in decision-making, neither in dealings with business partners nor with public officials. Therefore, all employees should avoid situations that could lead to a conflict between personal interests and the interests of Fit Ingredients GmbH. In the event of a possible conflict of interest, superiors must be informed and a decision on how to proceed must be awaited. We proceed with a sense of proportion when accepting and offering business meals, small gifts or promotional gifts.
Money laundering
We protect our company against money laundering and only work with regulated, traceable means of payment.
We take care to do business with contractual partners of integrity.
We do not accept cash payments from our customers and do not pay our suppliers in cash.
Competitive behavior
As an internationally active company, Fit Ingredients GmbH is committed to observing all laws against restrictions of competition in the countries in which Fit Ingredients GmbH does business. The commitment to fair competition includes the prohibition of attempting to prevent or restrict competition in any way. This includes, in particular, agreements and other concerted behavior regarding price, offers and sales conditions. Every employee is strictly prohibited from communicating about prices, margins, costs and customer or supplier relationships.
Data protection and IT security
We protect our data and that of our business partners. We ensure IT security.
We are particularly sensitive when handling personal and technical data from our own company, as well as that of our business partners.
Handling data responsibly and securing it technically helps us to maintain the trust of our employees, customers and suppliers.
We train our employees on the subject of data protection and IT security.
We only allow access to data via appropriate authorization structures.
When we store data, we ensure integrity, confidentiality and availability through an appropriate authorization and data security concept.
Diversity and respect
We respect our employees with all their different backgrounds and lifestyles. We act without prejudice and respect human rights and individual freedoms.
Diversity is an important building block for a successful team. We value the diversity of our colleagues. In order to be successful together, each person contributes their skills. This is only possible if we treat each other with respect. The same applies to our dealings with business partners.
We create a diverse working environment and do not tolerate discrimination on the basis of nationality, gender, age, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or disability. Nor do we tolerate harassment or bullying, for example.
We hire employees who have reached the prescribed minimum age.
Our employees all have the same opportunities for development and promotion, regardless of their gender, origin, age or sexual orientation. We respect the statutory minimum wage and comply with national labor laws.
All employees have the right to freedom of association and to have their interests represented by their elected representatives.
Confidentiality
Confidential information is treated as such.
We treat our own confidential information just as sensitively as that of our business partners.
We enter into mutual confidentiality agreements with customers and suppliers. We treat patents and sensitive information of third parties confidentially.
The obligation to maintain confidentiality also applies after termination of the employment relationship.
Environmental and climate protection
Compliance with all safety regulations is essential in order to prevent accidents and damage to the health of our employees.
Our employees receive regular training and specific instruction, but are also required to behave prudently and with foresight so as not to put themselves or others in danger.
Every employee is obliged to immediately report any accidents, operational disruptions or other dangerous conditions to the management so that the danger can be averted quickly and efficiently and damage can be limited.
Handling company property
We respect property. This applies equally to the property of Fit Ingredients GmbH and that of third parties.
Work equipment is used for operational purposes and in particular is not used for illegal purposes.
Implementation and complaint mechanism
All employees are required to comply with the Code of Conduct; violations of legal requirements may have consequences under labor law, but may also result in claims for damages. In cases of doubt or for further advice, employees as well as business partners are supported by the management.
Violations of the law or the Code of Conduct can also be reported to them at any time.
